Thanos Stavridis & Drom

Drom in the language of the Roma (the musicians of the Balkans) means road, and since 2015 Drom has been traveling in Europe and the Balkans playing music mainly from Thanos Stavridis’ albums “a suitcase full of dreams” and “Spicy Margarita”.

In these 11 years they have collaborated with leading Balkan musicians such as Petar Ralchev, Theodosii Spassov and Vlatko Stefanovski, and have performed in Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Bulgaria and North Macedonia among others.

In the spring of 2025, their new album entitled “fygame” was released and this time they carry the folk music of Macedonia in their luggage.

The album was in the 100 best releases of 2025 on the Transglobal Music Charts and was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Folk Album category.
